Exhibitions

In 2005 Centropa began an exhibition program based on the interviews and photos we have collected in 15 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

On September 29, 2016 our exhibition “The Ukrainian Jewish Family Album“ was opened in Kyiv, and about one year later, on November 16, 2017, our exhibition “The Moldova Jewish Family Album” was opened at the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History in Chișinău.

All exhibitions are printed on roll-up panels and designed to travel schools, universities, community centers, libraries, and public institutions all over Ukraine and Moldova. Since their openings our Ukrainian and Moldovan exhibitions have been displayed in more than 30 locations in each country, and attracted thousands of visitors – most of them students.

In 2018, “The Moldovan Jewish Family Album“ also has been included into the curriculum for the optional course “Holocaust: History and Life Lessons“ which has been developed by the Moldovan Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in cooperation with the OSCE – Mission to Moldova.

On our Ukrainian and Moldovan exhibition pages, we provide the exhibition booklets and impressions from the cities and places the exhibitions visited.
