Салли Узвалова – невысокая, стройная женщина с отличной осанкой и седыми, аккуратно подстриженными волосами. Она дружелюбная и с чувством собственного достоинства. После нескольких минут разговора у меня возникло ощущение, что мы знакомы всю жизнь. Она свободно говорит по-русски, хотя ее родной язык – румынский, и она начала изучать русский язык только после начала Второй мировой войны. Салли с удовольствием давала это интервью. Как единственный выживший в ее семье, она надеется, что ее история станет памятником родственникам, уничтоженным советской машиной. Она надеется, что кто-то, имеющий отношение к ее семье, прочтет эту историю и свяжется к ней.
