The annual Trans.History Youth Competition for students from Ukraine and Moldova is the chance for young active citizens from schools to create a project in one of the four categories:
- Graphic stories
- Photo Stories
- Social projects
on the topic of Jewish history or the development of civil society in the 21st century.
In 2015, we received 13 videos from schools all over Ukraine, the majority of them focusing on the topic “Our Town’s Jewish History”. All videos showed that the students had risen up to the challenge and provided a new and creative insight into their town’s and country’s history. Learn more about the winners here.
For the competition in 2016/2017, we received around 12 videos from young active citizens in Ukraine and Moldova, the majority of them focusing again on “Our Town’s Jewish History”. Learn more about the competition and the winners here.
For the competition in 2017/2018 the Trans.History team received almost 20 inspiring projects by young active citizens from Ukraine and Moldova. Learn more about the competition and the winners here.
