Lublin seminar – May 2020

Our 14th Trans.History teacher training seminar will take place in Lublin, Poland from May 8-10, 2020. Together with our local partners, Brama Grodzka–Teatr NN and the Galicja Jewish Museum, we will bring together around 50 educators from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Moldova, expanding our goal to further promote professional exchange and transnational projects in the field of Holocaust Education in Central and Eastern Europe. During our teacher training seminar we will introduce our participants to Centropa‘s educational tools, we will offer small-group work on how to use these tools in educational contexts, lectures by reknowned historians, hands-on workshops on Civil Society, Digital Media and Jewish history, lesson plan presentations and we will officially present and award the winners of our Trans.History Youth Competition.

We want to thank our supporters, the German Federal Foreign Office and the International Visegrad Fund, for making this seminar possible.

The call is open for Polish educators and representatives of Polish NGOs. The conference languages will be Polish and English with an interpreter on site.
